The Social Care Worker’s role is to support the person in all aspects of their life focusing on the individual's ability and promoting independence and development of skills. They assist in all aspects of the practical tasks associated with the daily life of the person supported either in their home or within a day service setting. The Social Care Worker will assist and support people who use the service with the development of their individual person centred plan and the achievement of associated outcomes, and critically, will support people who use the service to make informed choices and fulfil their potential.
