This is a full-time, newly created role designed to support continued service growth across Ireland. The Patient Care Specialist will play a key role in expanding patient support services, working closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Patient Care Specialist will be responsible for supporting existing patients and contributing to service expansion by promoting and delivering high-quality patient care services to key stakeholders across hospital and community settings.Key Responsibilities IncludeInstallation and setup of homecare devices including CPAP, NIV, invasive ventilation, diagnostic equipment, and cough assist devices in patient homes and hospital locationsManagement of patient home installations, clinic-based installations and support, including patient and clinician training and compliance activitiesOngoing patient follow-up post-installation, including telephone support, home visits, and compliance monitoring, with structured feedback provided to prescribing centresSupport for clinical training sessions and educational workshops in designated centresAttendance at respiratory conferences and professional meetings as requiredSupport of regional respiratory services, with occasional support in other regions as neededAdaptation of the role to support new product or service introductions when requiredSkills And ExperienceQualified Nurse or Physiotherapist with a minimum of one year post-qualification experience in a hospital and/or homecare environmentExcellent organisational, communication, and record-keeping skillsProven ability to present, train, mentor, and influence a broad range of stakeholdersCommercial awareness and experience in developing and maintaining strong professional relationships is desirableStrong attention to detail with the ability to follow tasks through to completionComputer literate with practical IT skillsFull manual driving licenceBenefitsGreat Benefits Package
