Job Title: Payroll Officer Role
Overview: We are seeking a skilled payroll officer to join our team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for circa 500 staff. This temporary position is based in Dublin 20 and may offer an opportunity to extend on a long-term basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high attention to detail in own work and team output.
• Supervise a positive working environment for the team of four employees, promoting collaboration and open communication. Actively engage in innovation and support change initiatives within the service, adapting local practices to ensure seamless implementation.
• Monitor efficiency of services provided by the team, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize administration processes.
• Process data through internal systems, maintain databases, and perform data entry tasks accurately.
• Manage records, filing systems, and information effectively, utilizing both manual and electronic tools.
Working Hours and Contract Duration:
• 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with one hour allocated for lunch.
• Temporary contract duration: 3-6 months, with possible extension or permanency.
Requirements:
