Role Overview In this pivotal role, you'll oversee a talented team of five Billing Analysts, ensuring seamless billing operations, maximised collections, and consistent financial performance. Acting as a key bridge between senior Finance stakeholders and client-facing legal teams, you'll drive process optimisation, strategic initiatives, and meaningful results. What You'll Be Responsible For Team Leadership and Performance Lead, coach, and mentor Billing Specialists Manage team structure and workload allocation Drive a performance culture centred on key financial metrics Oversee onboarding and ongoing development programmes Improve Lockup Day metrics through continuous benchmarking Stakeholder Engagement Act as a strategic escalation point for Partners and Fee Earners Collaborate with Legal Administration to enhance reporting and support Advise on client fee structures and forecasting processes Support Finance leadership with key initiatives and analytics Billing and Process Excellence Lead financial reviews and ensure data integrity Solve complex billing issues e.g. e-billing, multi-payor matters Introduce automation and tools to drive office billing KPIs Partner with Global Services, Finance, and Operations to improve workflows Cash Collection and Lockup Management Guide credit control strategy and aged debt recovery Ensure adherence to firm-wide billing policies and standards Analyse WIP trends to identify and resolve inefficiencies Champion end-to-end lifecycle improvements Essential Experience and Skills required At least 4-5 years' experience as Billing Manager Strong team leadership and coaching capabilities Proficient in SAP, Concur, and e-billing platforms Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI Knowledge of Irish VAT regulations Excellent stakeholder management and communication Data-driven with a sharp eye for process efficiency and KPIs Contact Elaine Liston at Sanderson on or apply online to learn more for more information.
