At our Neurovascular facility in Model Farm Road, you’ll play a key role in leading and developing your team—offering real-time coaching, supporting technical development, and maintaining high standards of quality and output.ResponsibilitiesActively participate in day-to-day leadership of the business unit, and contribute to the Engineering team, driving engagement activities.People and performance management: coach and mentor the engineering team.Resource management and lead continuous improvement activities.Drive manufacturing loss reductions within the value stream.Identify and implement process improvements to address manufacturing defects and enhance quality using Quality System tools.Develop and optimize work processes and resource utilization within operations.Support delivery of the Business Unit’s KPIs.Oversee the development of operational standards for capacity evaluation, budget planning, and operational metrics.Provide technical solutions to improve business performance.Lead technology development and application within manufacturing processes.Support capital acquisition activities including equipment specification, negotiation, installation, and validation.Provide out-of-hours support as needed.Coordinate with team leads and engineers to prioritize process and equipment issues and minimize downtime.Maintain understanding of equipment availability metrics.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsLevel 8 degree in Engineering or Science.At least 4 years of relevant experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience preferred.Knowledge of GMP / FDA regulations and health and safety legislation.Experience with Lean tools.Good operational understanding and strong communication skills.Ability to lead and facilitate engineering teams.High emotional intelligence and flexibility.Strong project management skills.Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies, committed to making healthcare better through innovative products and services across MedSurg, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics, and Spine.
