Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our assistive technology initiatives. The successful candidate will drive the development, implementation and evaluation of assistive technology supports for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise and excellent communication abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of assistive technology solutions and experience working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities or complex needs.
* A third-level qualification in Assistive Technology, multidisciplinary profession (e.g., speech and language therapy, special education, occupational therapy), or related field.
* Excellent knowledge of a broad range of AT solutions to support communication, learning, daily living, and community inclusion.
* Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or complex needs.
* Experience in carrying out assessments and developing innovative and person-centred AT plans.
* Experience delivering training and support to a range of stakeholders.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient with IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
