A rare and exciting opportunity to support the Gym Manager in a brand new health and fitness club as Assistant Gym Manager in the beautiful town of Tullamore This is a unique opportunity to join an extremely fast-growing franchise business with big growth plans. The gym is a state-of-the-art boutique facility kitted out with top of the range equipment and technology. My client requires a dedicated and passionate Assistant Gym Manager who has sales experience as you will be focused on growing the membership base while delivering a superb member experience.
The main responsibilities of the Assistant Gym Manager are:
* Driving membership sales as well as awareness campaigns in the local community
* Focusing on member retention and high levels of customer service
* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and operating the club within guidelines
* Overseeing group exercise class timetables and managing a team of Personal Trainers
* Developing marketing campaigns to attract new members while staying within budget
The candidate:
* Highly driven with a positive and proactive attitude is a must
* Ability to interact and be 'hands on'
* A background in fitness and membership sales management is ideal but not essential
* A strong knowledge of the sales process and generating leads from internal and external sources
* Ideally able to cover group exercise classes when required
You must be an outgoing character who thrives in and enjoys meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment head on
