National Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded National Sales Manager to lead a nationwide team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing client relationships, and ensuring the team consistently delivers exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a nationwide team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers.
Set clear objectives, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Foster a high-performance culture that values collaboration, accountability, and client success.
Support individual development plans to grow capability and retention within the team.
Commercial & Sales Growth
Own responsibility for achieving sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability across the business.
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and deepen client relationships.
Work closely with senior leadership to identify new markets, opportunities, and service offerings.
Drive commercial negotiations, ensuring agreements deliver long-term value for clients and the business.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Oversee key client accounts, ensuring exceptional levels of service and satisfaction.
Support the team in building strong client partnerships and resolving complex issues.
Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Provide insights and feedback to senior leadership on market trends, clientneeds, and competitive activity.
Operational Excellence
Ensure the team operates with strong compliance, process efficiency, andbest practice.
Produce regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasting.
Promote cross-team collaboration to maximise opportunities nationwide.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience managing and developing a sales team (BDMs, Account Managers, or similar roles).
Strong track record of achieving sales growth and commercial targets.
Excellent people leadership skills – able to inspire, coach, and drive accountability.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building ability.
Flexibility to travel nationally as required.
