Location: South Dublin (Hybrid – 3 days office/site, 2 days remote)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you a versatile HR professional who thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced environment? Do you love the variety of true business partnering but still enjoy keeping your hand in talent acquisition?
We are recruiting a HR Business Partner on behalf of a major, forward-thinking Irish business in the construction space. This business is undergoing an exciting phase of expansion and technology transformation.
This is not a rigid, overly corporate environment. We are looking for an energetic, commercially-minded, and resilient HR professional who can seamlessly switch between strategic workforce planning, coaching managers through tricky employee relations, and jumping into direct recruitment when business demand peaks.
The Role: What You’ll Do
This is a beautifully balanced, multi-site business partnering role supporting the full employee lifecycle for both corporate teams and regional site operations.
HR Business Partnering (70%): Act as a trusted advisor to regional managers and senior stakeholders. You will lead performance management cycles, drive engagement, and support DE&I initiatives.
Employee Relations & Coaching: Deliver practical HR support, confidentially managing ER issues and coaching people managers through difficult conversations and performance improvement plans.
Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership to map out talent redeployment, resource scaling, and team structures as new sites and projects open across Ireland.
Talent Acquisition (30%): Manage end-to-end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of roles -from technical specialists to commercial executives. You will drive a high-quality candidate experience and build robust talent pipelines.
The Profile: Who You Are
The ideal candidate is adaptable, curious, and someone who genuinely enjoys a dynamic working day.
Experience: 5+ years of generalist HR experience, with at least 3 years operating at a Business Partnering level.
The Blend: A background that combines strong HR generalist foundations with recruitment capability. (Profiles that started in an agency environment before moving in-house are highly attractive)
Skills: Confident handling ER issues, running workforce planning analyses, and utilising HRIS data.
Flexibility: Full clean driver’s license and own transport. While based in South Dublin, you will need to be comfortable visiting different sites across the Dublin region (with occasional travel further afield) to stay connected with your teams. You will also avail of a monthly car allowance to support.
What’s in it for you?
Our client genuinely values their people and offers one of the most comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits portfolios in the Irish market:
Financial Rewards: Performance-related annual bonus, strong matching pension scheme, and a substantial monthly car allowance.
Health & Wellbeing: Top-tier private health insurance (options for family coverage), life assurance, income protection, and an excellent Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
Work-Life Balance: 2 days remote per week. Highly flexible working hours.
Growth & Culture: Full funding for CPD and CIPD qualifications, active Employee Resource Groups, tax-saver travel schemes, and regular prepaid culture bonuses.
To Apply
If you are an ambitious, high-energy HR professional looking for autonomy, variety, and a fantastic team culture, we want to hear from you.
