Job Opportunity:
The company has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer to join its Tendering & Design Team in the West of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Tendering Team in managing commercial and technical requirements associated with tender submissions for water and wastewater projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Review and interpret tender documents, specifications, and customer needs to develop innovative solutions that meet project scopes and client expectations.
* Develop designs and project build bills of materials to provide accurate and value-for-money solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Prepare technical tender submissions and support health and safety, quality, and environmental documentation to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to quality management systems.
* Ensure submissions meet client specifications, project scopes, and industry benchmarks.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications and relevant engineering software.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in resolving complex engineering problems and implementing process improvements.
* Strong commercial understanding of contracting deliverables, with knowledge of procurement processes and contract management principles.
* Collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting open communication and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
