European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading semicon company, based in the county Cork area, who are looking for a talented Digital Design Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities as Digital Design Engineer:
* Develop design specifications and micro-architecture for low-power digital IPs.
* Execute front-end design tasks, including but not limited to RTL design, simulation, validation planning, synthesis, timing optimization, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional, global teams throughout the entire IP lifecycle, including specification definition, use case development, verification, bring-up, and validation.
* Stay up-to-date with industry advancements in low-power digital circuit design, ensuring your solutions and deliverables align with current best practices.
Requirements:
* A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience).
* 5+ years of industry experience in digital design.
* Proven experience in the architecture, design, verification, and integration of complex digital blocks or subsystems.
* Solid understanding of scalable design principles.
* Proficiency in RTL coding using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
* Scripting proficiency in Linux, TCL, Perl, or Python.
* Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence or Spice.
