Job Title: Treasury Business Analyst - 12 months FTC
Location: Dublin - Hybrid 2 days in office per week

Job Summary:
Beazley Finance is currently undergoing a large-scale modernisation, including implementing a Treasury Managed System (“TMS”).
As an experienced Finance Transformation Business Analyst, you will have several years’ experience working in Finance and Corporate Treasury Transformation projects. You will have a proven track record of implementing TMS projects and be able to utilise your experience working in Finance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, requirement management, and elicitation skills are essential.
You will be proactive, diligent, able to work autonomously, and collaborate effectively with your Project Team and stakeholders. Stakeholder Management and building strong business relationships are critical for this role.
As a Business Analyst at Beazley, your core purpose is to develop a deep understanding of end-to-end user journeys and processes to elicit, challenge, and document requirements, processes, and scope accurately and efficiently. You will be a key member of the Process Improvement & Innovation (PI&I) team, focusing on “building the thing right” while balancing value, technical debt, and scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with “building the right thing”.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, configure, and implement the TMS solution with FIS, our implementation partner, and enhance our BAU processes and controls.
* Partner effectively with Treasury and Finance teams to develop and optimise TMS and BAU processes for functionality, reporting, audit, and control requirements.
* Elicit, understand, challenge, and translate business value into high-quality requirements and user stories.
* Ensure traceability of requirements and user stories throughout the product lifecycle.
* Align requirements, user stories, and test outputs, including supporting User Acceptance Testing.
* Work closely with Product Owners to ensure user stories are detailed, thorough, and ready for configuration, managing them from conception to delivery.
* Assist stakeholders in understanding trade-offs and achieving consensus.
* Ensure solution designs align with Enterprise Architecture principles and strategic decisions, seeking guidance when necessary.
* Proactively monitor and communicate industry, functional, and technology trends; coach stakeholders on harnessing these for business value.
* Provide clear and regular updates on analytical tasks and progress to key stakeholders.
* Adopt a data-driven approach in all activities, ensuring data flows are respected as a key performance driver.
* Build relationships with Product Owners, understanding their business challenges.
Personal Specification:
Education and Qualifications
* Graduate education/qualifications or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience in Business Transformation, especially in finance or treasury systems.
* Experience with treasury and cash systems, operations, and controls, including deal lifecycle and treasury instruments.
* Strong knowledge of TMSs, especially FIS Integrity, or similar platforms.
* Experience implementing finance systems and process re-engineering projects.
* Understanding of treasury processes, payments processing, and system integration.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and teams across multiple time zones.
* Experience with SWIFT services, treasury accounting, and working in Agile environments.
* Proficiency in data flow analysis, user story management, and documenting complex business processes.
* Experience working with global teams, software providers, and outsourcers.
* Ability to deliver change in treasury and cash management environments, with strong team collaboration and problem-solving skills.
