The Position
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take on the role of Nursing Director. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care and services in our residential care homes.
Responsibilities:
* To ensure that all residents receive exceptional nursing care, meeting their individual needs through effective implementation of our Quality of Care System.
* Clinical practice within the home must meet regulations and standards. Monitoring is crucial to maintain these standards, which includes creating personalized plans for each resident's care plan.
* Audit internal practices regularly and implement changes based on outcomes from these audits. Provide staff with initial training and ongoing development support to promote their skills growth.
Financial Administration Responsibilities:
* Maintain administrative procedures when the Administrator is not present. Ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date at all times.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
prior experience as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with at least three years' experience in caring for older adults
post-registration management qualification in health or a related field
sound understanding of finance principles
demonstrated leadership abilities, organizational skills, excellent communication
results-driven approach accompanied by decision-making prowess good motivational ability,
alongside an enthusiasm towards promoting team collaboration.
