The role involves working across multiple projects or project phases, translating business needs into clear, prioritised requirements, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, value-driven solutions.The ideal candidate will have experience working in Waterfall, Agile and hybrid environments, be comfortable using tools such as Jira, and demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a liaison between business/client side stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams.Work across multiple project phases and or multiple small to medium-sized projects with varying complexity.Ability to facilitate workshops and requirement discussions with business and technical stakeholders.Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for business process and system improvements.Define and document business processes (AS-IS and TO-BE) using appropriate techniques and tools.Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.Support Agile delivery teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and clarification of requirements.Manage and prioritise requirements using agreed prioritisation techniques.Support UAT activities and ensure solutions meet agreed quality standards.Provide advice on how technology can be used effectively to meet business objectives and deliver innovative solutions.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong understanding of business processes, systems, and data concepts.Proven ability to apply a structured, analytical, and customer-focused approach to problem solving.Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog and requirements management.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic and changing environment.Proven experience producing high-quality business analysis artefacts.Preferred Qualifications and ExperienceAcademic background in Business, IT, or a related discipline.Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Business Analyst in a customer-facing environment.Experience in consulting, professional services, or digital and mobile projects is desirable but not essential.BenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive health insuranceGenerous annual leave and paid time off36-hour standard working weekFlexible working hours and ability to work remotely within Ireland.
