Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to increase hotel revenue and market share
* Support the General Manager and Group Commercial Manager in achieving budgeted sales
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, and event sectors
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and agencies
* Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions
* Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Operations teams to ensure a consistent product, aligned sales strategy, and shared goals
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and positioning strategies
* Work closely with marketing and operations teams to deliver aligned campaigns and promotions
* Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management
* Maximise revenue through upselling opportunities and creative packages
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales or business development role within the hospitality sector
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
* Results/targets driven, client-focused
* Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working on their own initiative
* Strong understanding of hotel operations and revenue management principles
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a proactive approach
* Full driving licence and own means of transport
* Knowledge of the Cork/East Cork market is a distinct advantage
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
