As Environmental Services Coordinator I, you play a critical role in the organization and management of your assigned department. In this role, you will assist with various tasks, such as preparing reports, suggesting team development initiatives, managing schedules and coordinating special activities. Your work directly enhances workflow and efficiency, allowing you to positively influence the delivery and quality of patient care. A caregiver in this role works days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.A caregiver who excels in this role will: Coordinate department project activities. Develop department resource databases to facilitate management of various project activities. Coordinate department scheduling of individuals, resources and activities. Coordinate administrative activities for the department (e.g., coordinating resources, timing and activities). Manage department schedule for key activities. Ensure that administrative support is provided as needed. Participate on project teams and build competency around specific department tools and methods for organizational performance improvement. Maintain data, develop databases and complete analysis. Provide reports and prepare charts, presentations or summary data. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Experience coordinating multiple functions, managing data and leading mid-size projectsProficient in Microsoft suitePhysical Requirements: Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periodsAbility to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipmentAbility to travel throughout the hospital systemAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
