The role of Floating Shunter Driver is essential to ensure the smooth operations of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate LGV and trailers around the site.
2. Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines at all times.
3. Couple and uncouple trailers as required.
4. Complete inspections of vehicles and trailers.
5. Safely park trailers in designated areas.
6. Ensure proper handover procedures are followed.
7. Report any vehicle accidents or mechanical defects to the Packing Supervisor.
8. The ability to work on own initiative within a time pressure environment.
9. Full, clean category B driving license with the desire and ability to complete Category C licence requirements.
10. Previous experience in a similar role.
Desirable Competencies/Qualifications:
1. Full, clean Category C Drivers Licence or equivalent.
