NexVentur is seeking to hire an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a premier, tier-1 structural steel fabrication and erection specialist.
Headquartered in Co. Longford, this industry leader designs, manufactures, and constructs advanced steel-framed buildings for large scale structural engineering projects.

As a Project Manager, you will hold ultimate accountability for delivering complex, large-scale structural steel and cladding packages from initial design handover right through to final site handover.
Because of our client’s extensive geographical footprint, this role offers excellent geographical variety with the opportunity to manage landmark projects in Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Midlands and England.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage the complete project lifecycle, controlling safety, quality, schedule, and program budgets for steelwork packages ranging from 500 to over 10,000 tonnes.
Act as the vital link between the internal design team, the automated fabrication workshop in Longford, and the site erection crews to guarantee just-in-time delivery of steel members.
Main point of contact for Tier 1 main contractors, client representatives, structural engineers, and architects.
Develop and maintain detailed master programs (using MS Project or Primavera), mitigating risk factors like crane logistics, weather delays, and site access constraints.
Strong HSE awareness, overseeing complex heavy lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments for steel erection at height.
Skills & Experience
5+ years of Project Management experience specifically within the structural steel fabrication, heavy steel erection, or specialized industrial envelope sectors.
Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent technical trade background backed by extensive site management experience.
Strong understanding of structural drawings, Tekla/BIM models, and project planning software.
Valid safety certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, CSCS, Managing Safely in Construction or equivalent). Experienced in reviewing temporary works designs and crane lift plans.
Good communication, organisation, and timekeeping skills.
Pay and package
Excellent salary, depending on experience (€70,000 - €85,000).
