ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT/FINANCE ANALYSTPrimeline Logistics is a leading name in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) and logistics, and we'regrowing. We're now looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team and play ahands-on role in supporting the financial performance of a fast-moving, high-volume operation.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, wants exposure to end-to-endaccounting processes, and is keen to progress their career within a commercially focused finance function.This role is based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath and operates on a hybrid working model, combining on-sitecollaboration with remote working.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and wider Finance team, you'll be involved in abroad range of accounting and reporting activities, including:Supporting the preparation of monthly management accountsCompleting balance sheet and stock reconciliationsRaising weekly and monthly invoices, along with ad-hoc billingPreparing and posting accruals and journals, including logistics and inter-departmental journalsManaging intercompany transactionsAssisting with deferred and accrued revenueProducing ad-hoc financial reports for management and key business partnersLiaising regularly with internal stakeholders across the businessSupporting the audit processGetting involved in continuous improvement and other ad-hoc finance projects as requiredSKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDAt least 3-5 years' experience in a busy practice or within an FMCG / retail / logistics environmentin an Accounts Assistant (or similar) roleStrong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailComfortable working with large volumes of data in a fast-paced settingStrong verbal and written communication skillsA proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to use initiative and take ownershipAble to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressureA collaborative team playerQualifications & SystemsDegree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (preferred)Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas; macros an advantage)Experience with D365 is an advantage but not essentialActively pursuing, or keen to pursue, a professional accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA),or part-qualified a strong advantageWHO WE AREEstablished in 1893, Johnson Brothers, a subsidiary of the Primeline Group, boasts a rich history in salesand marketing, carrying a strong reputation within the UK and Irish trade sectors.
