The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the optimal utilization of inpatient bed facilities within St John’s Hospital. The post holder will proactively manage bed occupancy for both elective and emergency admissions, aiming to optimize patient flow through the hospital system. This role is crucial in supporting the effective coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. The post holder will coordinate and manage a wide range of complex and high-volume patient referrals as part of the multidisciplinary team.
