The Commercial Director (CD) leads the sales operation in the territory with full Profit & Loss responsibility reporting to the Area Director. The CD is responsible for running HL Display business in the market, ensuring further growth through strengthening strategic partnership with existing retail customers and branded retail suppliers across both Food and Non Food Retail. The CD should establish a clear vision for positioning HL Display as the undisputed Market Leader in Merchandising Solutions in the local market. Growth will be achieved by building an understanding of the commercial benefits of Merchandising Solutions among our customers and successfully implementing these solutions in the retail universe.

To lead by example and build a high-performance sales organization is key to succeed in this role. Ultimately the success in this role will be measured by the fulfilment of sales and profit targets.

The CD will work together with the Head of Back Office when it comes to running the support and administrative operation.


Key Responsibilities

* Develop Strategic Plan and Vision for the territory operations together with Area Director.
* Deliver Commercial Targets (Net Sales, Operating Profit) set by Area Director and Group Commercial Director.
* Lead business planning, forecasting and priority setting in the territory.
* Provide inspirational leadership to the organization.
* Build a high performance organization through challenging, coaching and supporting the team.
* Build strategic partnerships with key customers and stakeholder in the country's retail industry.
* Be the key contact in the territory for HL Displays Global Marketing Organization.


Background

* National or International FMCG in one of the following roles: Group KAM, Sales Director, Trade Marketing Director or Category Management Director.
* National big retail organization (Food/Non Food) in Category or Operations.
* Retail supplier of “non for resale” goods.
* Good knowledge, insight and network in the country's retail industry.
* Experience from value based sales.
* Experience from annual negotiations with local retailers.
* Team Management Experience (min. 3 people).

* University degree in Management/Economy/Marketing or equivalent.

* Being entrepreneurial and do not get stuck in procedures and administration.
* Acting with integrity, as HL Displays key representative in the territory.
* Listening and communicates openly and honestly.
