If you are an established Financial Analyst, Commercial Analyst or Finance Manager who is relocating or returning to Galway, or you are working in a multinational company but feel you don't have an opportunity for career progression or further exposure, then you'll be interested in this Senior Financial Analyst job.
Working with one of the West of Ireland's premium employers, you'll develop your business partnering, financial analysis and budgeting skills in a globally renowned manufacturing campus.
This contract position for ***** months has come on-stream as the company embarks on a site-wide finance programme which will see current Senior Financial Analysts move to that project and you will join the FP&A team to take responsibility for their work, so if you are confident in your ability this could be the start of something longer term due to the size of this company and their Galway finance team.
As the Senior Financial Analyst you will:
Partner with specific business units through reviewing their financial performance, managing budget creation, complete monthly reforecasts and provide capital expenditure and project accounting support for departments to include manufacturing and SG&A business areas
Own accounting, forecasting and management reporting for site inventory, product costing or fixed assets
Provide monthly KPIs and commentary on your business areas for inclusion in the executive reporting pack
Contribute to the annual budget process for **** and the strategic planning process for the campus for the coming 5 years
Part-take in a site wide ERP upgrade including process mapping, report generation and UAT

To thrive in this job you will need
experience in financial or commercial analysis
and collaboration with non-finance managers from any industry in addition to holding a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
The package
is valued between €75,000-€85,000 including a competitive base salary, completion bonus, 8% company pension contribution, share option scheme, 2 days WFH, income protection and death in service benefit.
