* IMC Registration is essential for appointment to the post.
* 3 Years Prior Registrar Anaesthesia Experiance is essential
* Recent experience in Pain Medicine is desirable

We have a total designated bed complement of 180 beds and cater for up to 39,000 admissions and 71,00 outpatient attendances each year; we employ approx 1000 healthcare workers.
SIVUH is the regional center for ENT, Dermatology, Elective Orthopaedic, Ophthalmology (In patient & Day Cases) & Chronic Pain services and provides a significant role in the provision of Oncology, General Surgery, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Plastic Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Elective Gynaecology, Radiology and Anesthesiology services.
SIVUH is a teaching hospital with 180 beds and affiliated with the Medical, Nursing and Health & Social Care Professional disciplines in University College Cork and has developed key relationships in terms of training with many other educational sites both nationally and locally.
