Clancy Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to work with us in Cork. Location This is a Site based role in the Cork area. Reporting to The Site Manager. Key Responsibilities: Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. Checking plans, drawings and key information within the project Liaising with supervision of subcontractors and Colleagues across the project. Helping to plan work efficiently ensuring strict deadlines are met. Assisting in Quality control and safety measures on site. Dealing with unexpected technical difficulties which may arise and helping to successfully close them out effectively. Responsible for the Quality management and BCAR requirements for your area of responsibility Overseeing quality control and safety matters on site and ensuring that regulations, Clancy standards and best practice(s) are always adhered to. Attending regular meetings and keeping yourself well informed at all times. Qualifications/Experience: Experience - ideally within a main/specialist contractor. Demonstrates a working knowledge of the construction industry and project execution. Demonstrated well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders. Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels - making the project and its outcome better, because of their input. Computer literate and familiar with MS office. Demonstrated knowledge of safety management and quality management. Strong ability to learn quickly, with the confidence to use that learning on the project.
