## Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a **Senior Indirect Procurement Buyer** located in **Dundalk.
**Reporting to the **Regional Commodity Manager Indirect,** the **Senior Indirect Procurement Buyer** will be tasked with coordinating activities involved with procuring indirect materials and services; high portion on Facilities and Capex approved spend.
**What a typical day looks like:*** Using different forms of caring– e-auction, sealed, open care* In-direct Procurement of non-standard materials and services on aQuire basis* Ongoing and close participation with cross-functional teams, the global IP team and the Flex GBS team* Processing the requests received in the aQuire system within 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal.
* Compare the offers and select the best one - Cost and Quality.
* Interpreting contracts, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing.
* Managing the recruitment of suppliers* Overall management of global projects, knowledge of KPI's and drive to meet them* Agile participation in English language conference calls, meetings, representing the IP team* Constant liaison with suppliers and peers* Knowledge of and compliance with the procurement processes defined in the integrated management system* Requesting and documenting safety data sheets* Continuous monitoring, maintenance and updating of minimum stocks (as part of the job)* Preparation and recording of reports* Strong business acumen and strategic thinking* End-to-end ownership of sourcing and tendering activities through to contract execution* Ownership mentality with a hands-on and accountable approach* Transparent, reliable, and result-oriented working style with "hungry for learning" attitude* Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability* Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional international environment* Close cooperation with global, regional, and local stakeholders in a non-silo, partnership-driven setup* Experience using internal procurement and ERP systems* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to quality and execution excellence**The experience we're looking to add to our team:*** Typically requires a relevant degree and 5 years procurement experience* Background in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering would be advantageous* Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as ten-key, spreadsheet (PC) and ERP software* Ability to read, research and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations* Experience in writing reports, business correspondence and procedures and to effectively present information and acknowledges to questions from groups.
* Experience in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
* Ability to apply common sense comprehension to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
