Morgan McKinley is supporting a dynamic accountancy practice in Tralee, Co. Kerry who are seeking an Audit Senior to join the team.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing client audits and contributing to the continued success of the firm.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of audit staff, providing coaching and mentorship to ensure their professional development.
Plan, conduct, and review audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
Ensure adherence to International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and maintain the highest standards of quality control.
Build strong relationships with clients, effectively communicating audit findings and recommendations.
Identify and manage risks associated with client engagements.
Contribute to the development and implementation of audit methodologies and best practices.
Stay up-to-date on current accounting standards and regulations.
Participate in business development initiatives to help secure new clients.
Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in audit in Ireland, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering high-quality audits.
Strong understanding of International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with audit software (e.g., Caseware, ACL) a plus.
