Production Manager The company Our client has a heritage spanning over a century and they have earned global recognition as innovators in pet nutrition and treats. Their facility in Kilkenny specializes in crafting premium, wholesome treats for pets that reflect their commitment to natural ingredients, scientific formulation, and manufacturing excellence-baked into every batch. Today, their products are trusted by pet owners worldwide for their quality, nutritional integrity, and locally made craftsmanship. Due to ongoing success, they now seek to hire a new Production Manager based in Kilkenny. The role Reporting to the Site Production Manager, the Production Manager will lead day-to-day operations in the pet treats and supplements plant. This role will ensure efficient production, staff deployment, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards. You'll be responsible for: Delivering production targets and enhancing efficiency through scheduling and coaching. Upholding stringent quality, hygiene, and safety standards across raw materials to finished products. Managing staff training, supervisor support, and equipment uptime in close collaboration with engineering. Supporting machine commissioning and evaluating ROI on new equipment. You will bring: 3+ years' supervisory experience in manufacturing or packing. Production supervisors and team leads are welcome to apply. A third-level qualification (e.g., food science, process engineering)-advantageous. Strong communication, organisation, and continuous improvement mindset.
