Job Title: Senior/Principal Instrumentation Engineer
This role involves specifying instrumentation for biopharmaceutical process and utilities systems, as well as supporting the site calibration program.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate new instrumentation for functional equivalence to existing instrumentation, ensuring optimal system performance.
* Support authoring and maintaining configuration specifications and standards for cGMP manufacturing instrumentation, driving consistency and quality.
* Provide technical guidance to calibrations operations team, facilitating knowledge sharing and expertise.
* Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex instrumentation and associated systems, identifying solutions and mitigating risks.
* Create and maintain comprehensive configuration specifications for cGMP manufacturing instrumentation, aligning with industry best practices.
* Assist in the design review of equipment and approved supplier lists for instrumentation, promoting collaboration and due diligence.
* Review and approve wiring diagrams for instrumentation and associated control systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
* BEng/BS degree with 5+ years experience for Senior Engineer level and 8+ years experience for Principal Engineer level, coupled with a strong foundation in instrumentation principles.
* Experience with Biopharmaceutical Process & Utilities systems is highly desirable, offering a competitive edge in this field.
