Meta - Lead Counsel, Labor & Employment, EMEA

Meta is seeking a Lead Counsel for Labor & Employment, EMEA, on the Employment Law & Investigations team. This role can be based in Dublin or London and will provide employment law support across the EMEA region.
Responsibilities
1. Provide strategic advice to ER and HR teams on employee-related issues including disciplinary matters, reorganizations, investigations, future of work, compensation, benefits, and employment policies.
2. Draft and revise employment agreements and policies such as offer letters, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements, and employee handbooks.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to develop processes and playbooks for recurring employee matters and support region-wide projects.
4. Assist with employment litigation when necessary.
5. Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, strategic, and scalable solutions.
6. Willingness to work extended hours to coordinate with colleagues across regions.
Minimum Qualifications
* At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in labor and employment law.
* Qualified lawyer in at least one EMEA jurisdiction with a law degree or equivalent.
* Experience with employment law in EMEA, including performance management, compliance, and disciplinary procedures; willingness to learn new jurisdictions.
* Proven ability to manage large-scale projects collaboratively and solution-oriented work experience.
* Licensed and authorized to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, with current practicing certificate as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
* In-house experience is preferred but not required.
