Our Public Sector client is currently recruiting for a Senior EnergyProject Manager to join their Capital & Estates Department in Limerick.
This is an initial 1-year contract rolewhich offers great scope for extension and future permanency.

Responsibilities:
10. Lead the delivery of the organisations national energy and carbon retrofit programme.
11. Oversee all phases of capital projects, from planning to commissioning.
12. Manage project teams, contractors, and consultants.
13. Coordinate with divisions, regional leads, and external agencies.
14. Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, and quality standards.
15. Control project budgets, timelines, and reporting to senior management.
16. Support the implementation of the organisations decarbonisation roadmap and energy strategies.
17. Promote Energy Efficient Design (EED) and deliver related training and guidance.
18. Monitor energy performance and advise on energy-saving investments.
19. Assist in sustainability initiatives and fire safety planning.
20. Contribute to property planning, maintenance strategies, and compliance.
21. Act as a spokesperson and represent the organisation as needed.
Qualifications:
22. Bachelor’s degree (level 8) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field accredited by Engineers Ireland.
23. Minimum of 7 years of experience in energy, electrical or mechanical engineering. Ideally across healthcare projects.
24. Demonstrated expertise in managing capital projects, budgets, and cross-disciplinary teams.
25. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
26. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
27. Stamp 4 / EU Passport is required for this role.
