Job Overview
As a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development of new business and effective management of existing accounts.
This role involves creating and implementing marketing strategies to meet forecasted goals, as well as supervising departmental activities and managing a team to ensure excellent customer service and accurate account data.
* Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase revenue from group, leisure, corporate, and conference business.
* Build strong relationships with domestic and overseas accounts, identifying opportunities for new business and maintaining current business partnerships.
* Lead a team of sales professionals in tracking leads, negotiating rates, communicating with accounts, conducting market research, and writing effective proposals.
* Create and implement sales promotions to drive revenue growth.
* Manage sales and marketing department expenses, business planning, and budgeting to achieve established revenue goals.
* Participate in sales activities such as site inspections, presentations, and trade shows to expand business opportunities.
* Maintain accurate account data and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall performance.
