About the Role
This position requires an experienced professional to lead and oversee comprehensive health and safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and continuous improvement methodologies.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee comprehensive health and safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
* Deliver advanced Occupational Health & Safety consultancy services to high-profile clients
* Conduct detailed review and evaluation of contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements
* Manage the delivery of construction safety consultancy
* Design and implement strategic H&S training and development programmes
* Drive the development and execution of internal and external safety management systems
Requirements
* A third-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline
* Minimum of 4 years proven experience in a dedicated health and safety advisory role
* In-depth experience with PSDP responsibilities, relevant legislation, and industry standards
* Demonstrated ability to conduct and lead audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
* Strong understanding of H&S regulatory frameworks, construction safety practices, and continuous improvement methodologies
