Marketing Manager – Retail
My client is a well-established Irish retailer with three stores and an online business.
They are recruiting a Marketing Manager to join their Cork Head Office.
**please not there is No Hybrid and this is full time based in the office**
Salary €65K-€75K, may be negotiable but must reflect experience.
This is a varied role where you will oversee all areas of marketing: digital paid (via agency), organic, email marketing, social media, events, print & radio advertising, content writing, creating instore graphics, brochures, POS, and video reels.
You will manage and mentor a Marketing Executive and also work collaboratively with the Ecommerce Manager and the store managers.
You will be comfortable with working with suppliers/brand partners, graphic designer, and digital/media agencies.
Responsibilities for the job of Marketing Manager:
Content Creation & Social Media Management
1. The candidate must be very creative, have an eye for design and must have the skillset to create compelling stories in multiple formats including strong photography and videography skills.
2. Capture new video and image assets for creative execution
3. Develop and execute the content strategy to align with marketing goals and target audience needs.
4. Develop and implement campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue
5. Create and distribute content such as blogs, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets.
6. Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
7. Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
8. Work with influencers in our market to generate content and traction for our brands.
9. Delivery of content that supports lead generation and brand awareness efforts and engages prospects at different stages of the sales pipeline.
10. Optimise content for SEO to increase organic visibility and drive traffic to digital channels.
11. Execute product and lifestyle photo & Video needs from start to finish.
Campaign Management
12. Campaign management of advertising activity, including managing the design and the end-to-end campaign process – agency briefing, creative development and execution while reviewing effectiveness of each activity or campaign and building insights into future planned activity.
13. Liaising with the publishers, suppliers, or any relevant third-party agency, you will manage all areas of advertising/public relations ensuring timely delivery and accuracy in published materials and media.
14. Advertising for Outdoor, Press, Audio and Leaflets across retail
15. Implementation of extensive promotions calendars and coordinating the production of all promotional material (e.g. offers flyers, POS material).
16. Developing and implementing local marketing plans to support stores.
Digital Marketing
17. Management of Blog posts on relevant subjects to drive awareness of brand and product range
18. Management and implementation of digital media including, PPC, Display, audio, and online video.
19. Use customer and market insights to provide direction for marketing/sales initiatives.
Email & Text marketing
20. Manage digital communications calendar and the design, segmentation, delivery, and reporting of the communications.
21. Consumer campaign creation and execution
22. Writing and executing emails and texts with creative agency
