Position Summary
NeoDyne is seeking a highly experienced Equipment Engineer to support one of our key client sites on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the NeoDyne team and play a critical role in delivering automation expertise across the Cork based site.
This position will play an important role in equipment reliability, spare parts management, and continuous improvement activities across packaging operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a robust spare parts management system in partnership with the Maintenance Team.
* Identify and source equipment spare parts through collaboration with approved vendors.
* Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work.
* Review and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) schedules based on equipment downtime trends.
* Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime and lifecycle.
* Complete change control activities related to equipment modifications.
* Provide support to cross-functional in-house and external project teams.
* Promote and uphold a strong safety culture during the execution of all activities.
Experience & Skills
Required
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
* Minimum 2-3 years of engineering experience in a Pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment.
* Demonstrated experience in a technical role involving equipment maintenance or improvement.
* Working knowledge of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) principles.
* Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams.
* Experience specifically with packaging equipment.
* Exposure to data analytics or equipment performance analysis.
* Familiarity with change management systems or procedures.
* Experience working directly with external contractors or vendors.
