Job Description
A Director of Nursing is required to lead and manage daily clinical operations with empathy and professionalism. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in upholding excellence in person-centred care, clinical oversight, and continuous innovation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage daily clinical operations with empathy and professionalism.
* Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and safety for both residents and staff.
* Drive continuous quality improvement and ensure full compliance with regulations.
* Support staff development through mentoring and training initiatives.
* Oversee risk management, safeguarding, and the implementation of best practices in elder care.
Essential Qualifications:
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) with registration.
* Management qualification in health or a related field.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in Older Person Care (within the past 6 years).
* At least 3 years of management experience in health or social care.
Desirable:
* Postgraduate diploma in Gerontology.
