Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, Permanent)Company: Brosnan Property Solutions Ltd.Location: Unit 6, Carrigtwohill Shopping & Business Centre, Main Street, Carrigtwohill, Cork, T45 ND32Work Location: In person / On-site across MunsterAbout UsBrosnan Property Solutions Ltd. is a leading facilities management company based in Cork, delivering reactive and planned maintenance services across the commercial, industrial, and public sectors.Our clients include local authorities, healthcare providers, housing bodies, and private businesses throughout Munster.We're known for our professionalism, reliability, and quality workmanship — and as we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.The RoleThis is a field-based position for a skilled, self-motivated technician with a strong background in commercial property maintenance.You'll carry out multi-trade repairs, safety-critical maintenance, and minor works projects across a range of commercial buildings and facilities.You'll represent the company on-site, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out a variety of commercial maintenance and repair works across multiple client sites.Respond to reactive call-outs and complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.Perform multi-trade duties including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, and minor electrical works.Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues safely and efficiently.Work to job sheets and service-level agreements (SLAs) with attention to detail and time management.Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and client site requirements.Maintain a professional appearance and communicate clearly with clients, site managers, and the helpdesk team.What You'll Bring Essential RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience in commercial property or facilities maintenance.Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.Full, clean driving licence.Strong technical and practical problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.Good communication and reporting skills.High standard of workmanship and professionalism.DesirableTrade qualification or specialism (carpentry, plumbing, or electrical).Experience in building services, retail, or healthcare facilities.Knowledge of health and safety compliance requirements.Own tools (advantageous).Job DetailsType: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From €37,500 per annum (DOE).
