Key Responsibilities
Clean production machines, tooling areas, machine sumps, and surrounding workspaces
Remove metal shavings, oil residue, coolant buildup, and waste materials safely and efficiently
Support preventative maintenance activities as directed
Maintain clean floors, aisles, storage areas, and general housekeeping standards
Report any machine leaks, damage, or safety concerns immediately
Work closely with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel
Ensure cleaning tasks are completed without disrupting production schedules
Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures
Competencies

Reliable with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working around machinery and industrial equipment
Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace policies
Flexible attitude toward shift work and overtime where required
Experience & Requirements
Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
Experience cleaning machinery or industrial equipment beneficial but not essential
Forklift or industrial cleaning equipment experience advantageous
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Candidates must have eligibility to work in Ireland
Own transport may be required depending on location/shifts
