An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Service Manager to lead our team and drive excellence in service delivery.
About the Role
The Senior Service Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times. This includes leadership of the staff team, coordination of appointments with the multi-disciplinary team, and development of person-centred care plans that promote resident choice and control.
The role also involves reporting and responding to complaints, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards, and implementing Talbot Group policies and procedures. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and developing staff, providing supervision and appraisals, and holding monthly team meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and motivate the staff team, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Coordinate appointments with the multi-disciplinary team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
* Develop and implement person-centred care plans, promoting resident choice and control.
* Respond to and report on complaints, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and organisational policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a relevant Allied Healthcare discipline.
* A minimum of three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector.
* An appropriate qualification in Health or Social Care management.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
