Your new role includes:
Managing costs on a variety of curtain wall & glazing projects.
Early involvement in projects, liaising and providing advice to the tendering team.
Checking contract terms and conditions and negotiating acceptable terms with clients.
Preparing early-stage budgets, cost plans and cashflow and performing risk, value management and cost control
Allocating work packages to sub-contractors and sub-contract procurement including preparation of contract documents.
Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks and negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded
Experience you need:
An appropriate level of qualification e.g., a degree in quantity surveying or similar.
3-5 years in a similar role
Software experience MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Buildsoft, CostX, Bluebeam.
People management skills.
High attention to detail.
Excellent communicator with enthusiasm and drive
Knowledge & Experience of curtain walling / commercial window industry preferable
