Aramark currently requires a Retail Supervisor to manage the day-to-day running of the 'One Stop' shop and coffee shop at University Hospital Galway. Reporting to the Retail Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the retail, deli counter, and coffee shop services.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in completing the store’s operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
Comply with Aramark procedures in respect of Opx and system requirements
Implement Aramark policies and protocols that will maintain future retail operations
Assist with store targets, scorecard & payroll
Make sure all staff comply with Aramark policies and procedures
Co‑ordinate daily front‑of‑house/back‑of‑house retail operations
Assist in the delivery of a monthly inventory of all shop stock
Follow and implement Aramark’s health and safety policy and procedures
Act as the store representative and set an example for staff
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Ensure retail unit is merchandised and all stock lines are presented in line with approved planograms
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
In the absence of the Retail Manager, be the lead operator of the retail unit
Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Retail Manager

Qualifications
Experience in a supervisory role
Experience with the use of Food Hygiene practices, for example, HACCP
Excellent interpersonal, communication & organisational skills to liaise effectively with various departments
Outgoing personality, reliable & dependable
Flexible and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise
