Support, service, and long-term partnership are core to MSC's value proposition. We now require a Life Science and Molecular Diagnostics Technical Sales Representative to join our sales team. Reporting to the Life Sciences and Molecular Diagnostics Sales Manager you will become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our molecular diagnostics and life sciences portfolio to our clinical diagnostics and life science laboratories respectively. This role will require you to be a team player with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their experience of our service is industry-leading. We are looking to recruit a high-calibre, ambitious individual to maximise new sales opportunities whilst maintaining & growing our current client base within our molecular diagnostic and life science laboratories. Duties and Responsibilities Grow MSCs share in the life science and molecular diagnostic market Promote the full MSC range of equipment and products Develop a high level of understanding of the MSC product rage Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and individual KPIs Deliver customer demonstrations and training Develop an understanding of current and future market trends Use and maintain the company CRM system Represent MSC professionally with customers, suppliers, and partners Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and key opinion leaders Attend trade exhibitions and scientific conferences, training and workshops as required This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities. Attributes Laboratory experience Degree in a biological scientific field Full clean EU driving licence Drive and motivation to succeed in technical sales Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues Willingness to travel throughout Ireland regularly, with occasional international travel Desirable: Higher level degree in a biological science field Working knowledge of Irish clinical and research laboratory sectors Laboratory or commercial experience in molecular biology
