Finance Officer – Coleraine

In this part-time role, you'll play a key part in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, supporting budgeting and reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and funding requirements.

What you'll be doing in this role:
Manage the day to day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate records of all income and expenditure
Maintain computerised and manual bookkeeping systems, including bank reconciliations, petty cash, sales invoicing and debtor management
Monitor and analyse income across multiple funding streams, ensuring all funding is correctly recorded, lodged and reported
Process supplier payments, maintain purchase approval systems and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts
Support the Project Manager in preparing annual budgets and monitor performance against actual spend
Prepare quarterly income and expenditure reports and investigate variances
Maintain budget trackers to support financial control and decision making
What you'll need for this role:
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, budgeting and financial reporting
Experience managing payroll and statutory submissions
Ability to work with multiple funding streams and meet reporting deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
Experience using Sage 50 Payroll is desirable
Experience within the community or voluntary sector would be an advantage
