About the Opportunities
Due to an exciting period of structured growth, we are partnering with a highly successful and expanding Insurance Broker to recruit for several newly created commercial roles within their team.
Whether you are in the early stages of your commercial insurance career or are a seasoned professional handling large-scale risks, we have an opportunity for you! We are currently hiring across the following three positions based in either Galway or Castlebar:
1. Commercial Account Handlers (SME)
The Role: Managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial SME clients (shops, offices, liability, etc.).
Experience Needed: Minimum of 6+ months of commercial SME experience.
Perks: Annual performance-based bonus (up to 10%). Hybrid working available after 6 months once operating independently.
The Role: Looking after an established, large-risk book of business valued at €500k. (Please note: the primary relationship management aspect of this book sits with the Account Manager, allowing you to focus heavily on technical handling and administration).
Experience Needed: Strong commercial insurance background. CIP qualification is highly preferred for this senior role.
Perks: Annual performance-based bonus (up to 10%). Hybrid working available immediately.
The Role: A target-driven, sales-focused position dealing with inbound commercial SME inquiries.
Experience Needed: Minimum of 6+ months of commercial SME experience with a strong appetite for sales and business development.
Perks: Highly competitive commission structure. Hybrid working available after 6 months once operating independently.
Core Requirements Across All Roles:
Qualifications: You must be APA qualified as a minimum standard to be considered for any of these positions. (CIP is highly advantageous, particularly for the Senior position).
Skills: Excellent communication, a customer-first mindset, and strong organizational skills.
Drive: A proactive approach and a desire to build a long-term career within a growing brokerage.
