My client, based in the Dublin area, is a leading player in the Services industry, specialising in Cleaning, Security, and Facilities Management. Due to continued success, they are seeking a motivated and results-drivenSenior Business Development Managerto join their dynamic team and drive business growth.
The role in a nutshell:Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building client relationships, and achieving revenue targets through consultative selling.
Main responsibilities include:
* Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits while maintaining comprehensive records in CRM systems
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and lead generation.
* Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
* Experience with B2B sales strategies and execution. – Familiarity with the Cleaning and/or Security Services/Facilities Management industry
* Strong analytical skills to assess sales metrics and performance data.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing and customer service.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a documented track record of achieving sales targets.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) with the ability to travel within Ireland as needed.
* Full clean Drivers Licence is essential
