Senior Business Analyst
Fully remote - must be based in Ireland Permanent75-80k per annum plus package (25 days holidays, health, etc)Must have EU passport or Stamp 4 visa.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll work closely with clients and the engineering team to understand and document business requirements, translate them into detailed backlogs, and ensure that the delivered solutions meet expectations.
In this role, you'll lead high-level meetings, work with other roles to establish effective ways of working, and contribute significantly to the strategic development of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges
Translate client needs into detailed backlogs and user stories
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions that meet business goals
Provide support throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet client expectations
Facilitate both high-level and detailed client meetings to elicit requirements and drive consensus
Plan and lead backlog refinement and other roadmap planning sessions
What We're Looking For
Experience working in agile and Scrum-based environments
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and high-level technology concepts
Strong skills in creation of backlogs (Jira or Azure Dev Ops), flow chart diagramming, user journey mapping, rapid prototyping and wireframing
Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to clients and internal teams with a view to help clients prioritise backlogs and focus the development team
Proven ability to lead client discoveries, gain insight from other departments and stakeholders, and facilitate strategic decision making
Willingness and ability to mentor junior team members and work across departments to establish collaborative ways of working
