Elevate
Partners are currently retained on behalf of a global investment firm to hire a
Head of Investment Strategy. This is a key hire for the business and the
successful candidate will play a lead role in the tactical asset allocation of
the firms AUM. We are looking to speak with experienced candidates working in a
global investment role as an Economist, Strategist or Portfolio Manager.
* To provide high quality economic and investment analysis to help inform
the asset allocation and investment decision -making process for our multi asset
portfolios
* Required to deliver high quality analysis and recommendations with a
specific focus on Fixed Income investments
* Build awareness by speaking at conferences and seminars and by writing
research on topical matter impacting investors
* Help to design and build a cohesive, understandable and successful
investment offering for the firms clients
* Provide regular updates on the global economy and investment markets
* Work closely with stakeholders in the business and support portfolio
managers in regular client portfolio reviews as well and attracting new clients
Requirements
o CFA qualification desirable
o 7 -10 years' experience as an investment strategist/economist/fund
manager ideally with experience covering both equities and fixed income
o Experience of tactical and strategic asset allocation within a multi
asset framework
o Ability to develop and present well thought out views on the likely
evolution of the economic cycle and how different assets perform at each stage
of the cycle
o Detailed knowledge of the global and UK economic and investment
landscape as well as ability to write clearly and concisely and present to and
interact with senior investment professionals
