Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or 2 within UCD School of Civil Engineering.
HarNesS project is funded by the Science Foundation Ireland - Frontiers for the Future programme. HarNesS aims to develop an integrated crowdsourcing platform that retrieves multi-fidelity data from smartphone sensors to interpret bridge infrastructure vibrations. The successful candidates will work with a diverse list of partners to develop the analytical foundations of a crowsdsourcing-based structural health monitoring platform that handles large and heterogeneous vibrations datasets collected in an uncontrolled manner.
We seek a 1) postdoctoral researcher with an experience in bridge modelling, structural health monitoring, bridge response simulations, and field testing and also 2) a postdoctoral researcher with an experience in engineering mechanics, Bayesian techniques, statistical learning, model updating.
PD1 Salary: €45,847 - €52,339 per annum or PD2 Salary Scale: €52,715 - €57,332 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience
