EZ Living Interiors are recruiting for full-time Assembly Operative based in our Distribution Center in Little Island. If you are enthusiastic, hardworking and want to deliver high-quality service then this is an ideal opportunity for you to join an expanding company with a first-class reputation.
Key Duties
* Assembly of all types of furniture as per customer orders
* Understand, implement, and carry out all Company policies, procedures, and standards.
* Assisting the Service Technician team in any in house repairs.
* Using hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
* Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Monitor and manage the receipt of all required and relevant paperwork from drivers on a daily basis
* Cycle counts
* Maintain systems, processes and develop where appropriate
* Communicate effectively and assertively with drivers and harness good working relations
* Liaise with other departments in the company to ensure monitoring of all stock movements
Qualifications
* Experience in a busy warehouse an advantage but not necessary
* Carpentry or assembly experience, personal or professional, preferred .
* Demonstrate initiative and an aptitude to learn quickly
* Working knowledge of MS Office packages & experience of working with computerised system.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
