Role SummaryThe successful candidate will be an integral part of the investment team and be expected to assist the head of cross asset strategy in monitoring global asset classes, performing portfolio analysis, testing investment strategies and facilitating day to day operations within the Discretionary Investment Team including trading and researching existing and prospective investments.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct asset class and sector analysis based on thematic trends and macro developments;Research thematic and alternative investment opportunities;Analyse and provide regular updates on existing and prospective investments;Regularly update multiple regressions and clustering analysis for asset classes and economic indicators;Conduct client and portfolio analysis with reference to the investment policy, benchmark, risk analysis and performance monitoring;Assist the Discretionary Investment Team with the preparation of quarterly videos, market updates and ad hoc reports;Regularly monitor and update sustainability screens and reports using the MSCI ESG platform;Review and update portfolio documentation and undertake other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Discretionary Investment Team.RequirementsRelevant degree in finance, economics, or related field;Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;Experience in asset class and sector analysis;Familiarity with investment strategies and portfolio management;Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools;Excellent communication and teamwork skills.This role is a CF-4 under the Central Bank's Fitness & Probity Standards.
