Operations Accountant - Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Job Description:
The Operations Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of our organization, planning, controlling, administering, interpreting and reporting on financial data to management at local level and division.
* Prepare monthly financial and management accounts in a timely manner.
* Create annual plans and updates with revisions as necessary.
* Closely monitor capital expenditures to ensure compliance with set policies and procedures.
Purpose:
The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring that all project expenditures are forecasted accurately. Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements is also key.

The role of Operations Accountant plays an integral part within our organization's structure.
In this capacity, you would provide vital support services across various departments. The ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective communication channels is essential.
The individual chosen for this position must possess a high degree of organizational skills along with exceptional time-management abilities. Relevant certifications or training in accounting such as ACCA/ACCA/FIA (or equivalent) are highly valued. You should have significant experience working in finance/accounting roles preferably over three years or more.
